Letter No. 15

Dear DP,
Happy Sunday or Monday (whenever you may be reading this)! It’s been a while since the Letter from the Pink Palace has been published, and we have a lot on store for updates over the past couple of weeks.
Editorially, we have been working on recruiting and training our new staffers. We are also preparing for our website redesigns to come out in the near future. On the business side, we have been working to expand our revenue streams — specifically with corporate sponsorships, Quaker Creative, and special issues. More information on these new projects will be out soon!
Staffers of the week
The staffers of the week are Business Development Manager Ranvith Adulla and Staff Editor Riana Mahtani!
Ranvith was responsible for running our first rendition of the DP Summer Press Academy, a summer camp that the DP held for high school students over the summer. We had over 20 students attend the camp and publish pieces after doing so.
Riana wrote this week’s A1 story (which I’ll showcase below!). This story required sourcing from countless Penn faculty members, with Riana working with only one day to get the story out. Read it!
