Dear DP,
Happy Sunday! Heading into the final stretch of the semester, we have a pretty eventful April. This past week, Quaker Creative held the Best of Penn Fair at the Annenberg Plaza, where a multitude of vendors and hundreds of students came together. The event also was timely with the release of this week’s paper (more soon) and the Best of Penn Issue.
Tomorrow is also the last day to give for the Masthead Madness College Media tournament. The tournament is an annual fundraising competition for student newsrooms, and currently, The DP is in first place amongst other college newspapers. Be sure to let everyone know this, so we can keep our first place spot!
Staffers of the week
The staffers of the week are Quaker Creative’s Yaxlei Alejo-Ortiz, Devin Khemalaap, and Jenna Adiele. They have been working on the Best of Penn Issue for weeks, and the final print product just looks amazing. Kudos to them for also really helping the operations of the Best of Penn Fair; we couldn’t have done it without you :)

Best of Penn issue
Quaker Creative released the Best of Penn Issue as an insert in our weekly issue. It has the results of the Best of Penn voting and what members of the Penn community thought were the best of each listed category.
Take a look! Some of these categories are interesting and I cannot wait to try a few of these winners.
